It is no secret that the Garden Island of Kauai, as it was fondly named by Hawaiians, has the most Lush and Colorful Tropical Vegetation of the Islands. This is because of the abundant rainfall in some parts of Kauai. The average annual rainfall in Poipu is less than 30 inches.
